Microraptor glided, but he could flap, from time to time to boost his flight.
23:58
i need 80
23:58
Amanzing
23:58
If Microraptor were still alive, who needs a parrot when you could have a Microraptor for a pet.
23:58
that was cool
23:58
The audio is borked, it comes out of the left side only.
23:58
It's so cute! Where can I get one of these as a pet?
23:59
WOW
23:59
Really need to give this series a watch! It bothers me though how the animators still go for naked fingers and toes at this time even though Microraptor is a good example of a full fluffy dinosaur. The tip of the snout is the only thing that's not feathered if I'm right (plus the footpads on the underside of the feet and fingers).Same for the shrinkwrappedness of the overall body, documentaries still need to get their facts straight at some points.
23:59
I'M WATCHING............THANKS TO THOSE WHO UPLOAD IT. DAVID COOPERATE WITH ME TO MAKE NEW VIDEO ON M
23:59
I do enjoy the fact that they went out of their way to make the Microraptor move a lot like an actual bird. That said, I'm slightly bothered by the mild shrink-wrapping (at the very least, I think the feathers should be fluffier).
23:59
I'm not one start an aggressive arguement but I have a theory that microraptor and other so called avian dinosaurs didn't sport actual fluffy feathers but thick scales with a thin feather design. I say this because it's very clear how reptiles evolved into therapods. Therapods had very reptilian brains, which has proven through skull casting. Those brisils on the fossil were CGI into it. Plus the preservation process still should decay the feathers if they were. The animal that I theorize is the true ancestor to avians is Hesperornis because it had very developed features microraptor and archeopteryx didn't. A well defined beak, arm structure, high hinged legs tucked into the body, and the right skull structure with enough space in the brain cavity to support a more birdlike brain than most vertebrate around the time of the dinosaur.

Anything with Attenborough gets a thumbs up from me.
23:59
That is amazing
23:59
This is awesome - i want a bird like that one!
23:59
Fascinating... can't wait to see this series when it's done.
23:59
Awesome vfx
23:59
hmm interesting.
23:59
Awe its like a little dragon. the animation is a bit off to me, just because animals dont move so quick and know exactly where to go, but it was very well done.
23:59
Es genial como gracias a la tecnologia se puede traer a la vida, y o conocer mejor algo..
23:59
This is amazing
23:59
Having that creature as a pet would be so cool.
23:59
The left side of my head learned all about the Microraptor, but the right side of my head knows nothing.
23:59

Probably the best animation I have ever seen.
23:59
Holy shit and just when I was thinking how awesome it would be have one of these things as a pet.
23:59
2:23 you can see the microraptor in reflections of the glass in the background. that is some quality work.
23:59
